In this exclusive session, EMRC CEO Marcus Geisler, joins Renée McLennan, Town of Bassendean Mayor and community group Grow It Local to unveil a new education campaign. The intention is to increase awareness of sustainable living behaviours and how everyone can play an active part in closing the loop on food and garden waste. The launch will be followed by a remarkable workshop run by Peg Davies to learn how to recycle waste to create a wicking bed system to save water and grow locally during the hot season. Peg will also give you her top tricks and tips to reduce waste, save money and enjoy delicious homegrown produce.
