    How low to ground can you cut an elderberry tree? It is way too high for me to reach, is too big at present for my townhouse garden and some of the stems have borer. I'd like it to regrow but think some of the stems need to be cut lower than say 1 m. And: after I cut, if there are still borer holes - how best to treat?

    My seedlings won't grow! I can get the seeds to germinate but they only grow to maximum 1/2 inch tall. It doesn't matter if they are tomatoes, cauliflower, herbs, everything does the same thing. I have tried many different seed raising mixes and I liquid fertilise with weak Seasol once germinated. I need help please!
