As part of the Grow It Local Spring Festival, the City of Mandurah is excited to host a launch event to celebrate the recent partnership. Hosting the event will be Grow It Local co-founder, author, chef and master grower Paul West himself. The event will take place at Flics Kitchen where one of Mandurah's top chefs will be doing a live cooking demo using a recipe from Pauls recently published book 'Homegrown'. Green mocktails and canapes will also be served to guests 🍹 Paul will also share his thoughts and beliefs on why growing food is such a powerful force for good, how it can help address so many of society's big systemic issues and how anyone can start to grow a bit of their own food. From our own physical, mental and spiritual health, through to the health of our communities and the whole planet, growing food is the magic bullet that makes the world happier, healthier and more delicious!
