Description

The best part about growing your own food? The growing part is only half the fun! After all the blood, sweat and tears we pour into our gardens, harvest time rolls around and we get to really enjoy the fruits (and vegetables) of our labour. But can you have too much of a good thing? Anyone that has grown more than two zucchini plants will testify to how you quickly you can go from: "Oh this is nice, to whoa, too much!" Enter Fabian Capomolla, aka The Hungry Gardener. Not one to be intimidated by a little garden overabundance, Fabian is a champion grower from New South Wales, who knows how to make the most of the glut when it’s happening. That way, when the garden is looking a little leaner and you find yourself dreaming of more abundant times, you can pop into the pantry and grab yourself a jar of delicious homemade preserves. So, join Fabian as he teaches you how to make the most of the abundance by preserving The Hungry Gardener way! This workshop is now available on-demand, for you to watch whenever suits you best. This is great to see. I have been doing lots of different things with my glut of zucchini tomatoes are still developing and or waiting to turn red! Sun dried tomatoes would be fantastic to learn how to do. Cheers Deb

I loved this and will use the recipe with all the green tomatoes I have. My kitchen has the same equipment as you so it made it all the more enjoyable. But what I particularly honed in on was your talk about jars. I also shop with a look out on jars. Meredith marinated goats cheese jars are my favourite. Please share some brands of products where the labels remove easily because removing the glue is a b*%$h of a job.
