Large allotment on biodynamic farm

For the first time, Imago Forest is offering six allotments in its permaculture designed mandala garden and orchard. Each allotment is around 230 m2 and includes six mature fruit trees of different varieties. Each allotment has space for six 12 m2 circular garden beds which are sized to match a chicken dome that can house up to 12 chickens. In the centre there is space for a pond and an additional herb/flower bed. There is also plenty of room in between for compost heaps or growing long duration crops. This is all based on the beautiful mandala garden design in Linda Woodrow's book "The Home Permaculture Garden". It is $200 per year for the use of your own allotment and you will share half of any harvest from the existing fruit trees. All allotments will use organic and regenerative practices. The mandala garden can be irrigated via gravity feed from a dam uphill in addition to around 1600mm of rain per year. The soil is high in organic matter and is well structured. There is camping on site as well as a one bedroom cottage, each with spectacular views over the valley and lake.
