Permaculture Interpretive Garden

This award winning site is located at Randwick Community Centre and serves as a public park as well as a venue for practical training in permaculture and organic gardening. It demonstrates the integration of components such as kitchen gardens, aquaponic/vertical garden arrays, forest gardens, a public reedbed toilet that biomimics the natural wetland to purify wastewater, a propagation shed that uses recycled hardwood in its construction and a wild food and habitat trails.
