Join us as we invite Andrew Thompson, former president of the Rare Fruit Society SA, member of Joe's Connected Garden and expert Grafter along to the Precinct Community Garden to share his wealth of knowledge, skills and experience in fruit tree grafting!
During this workshop Andrew will provide a basic introduction to fruit tree grafting and will include:
- What is grafting and why we graft
- Basic principles of fruit tree grafting
- Demonstrate different grafting techniques
- Tool care
- Tips for success
This will be a hands on, practical workshop where you will be able to practise grafting under the guidance and support of Andrew.
