In the Edgy Organics patch I grow heirloom seed varieties of fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers that the family enjoy or are unique and interesting. I use homemade compost, worm tea, manures and mulch or purchase organic inputs to feed my black, self mulching clay soil. Space is not an issue in the kitchen garden. The limiting factor is the time I have to keep the weeds at bay. My output is shared with family, friends and the farm animals.
